SPREAD THE WORD INCLUSION CAMPAIGN
Werner Elementary is proud to be a Special Olympics Unified Champion school and will be participating in an Inclusion Campaign on Wednesday March 4th. The Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools program is aimed at promoting social inclusion through intentionally planned and implemented activities affecting systems-wide change. We hope to build a school climate where students with disabilities feel welcome and are routinely included in, and feel a part of all activities, opportunities and functions. Together we are creating a Unified Generation that Chooses to Include. Students will have the option to make a Pledge to Include, by signing a banner that will be displayed in the hallway. Conversations and activities will take place that highlight the many benefits to inclusion. In addition, t-shirts can be purchased for $11.70 (including tax and shipping) at the live store: https://willpromo.com/soco_ucs/shop/home. Purchasing shirts as a group is a cost-effective way to decrease tax and shipping expenses.
**If you choose to purchase a shirt, please encourage students to wear them on Wednesday March 4th to celebrate inclusion! We are looking forward to this fun day!
LITTLE SHOP OF PHYSICS-FEB. 29

For more information email me back or check out lsop.colostate.edu/open-house/.
