I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! I was born in Newport Beach, California and attended elementary school at Kemper Elementary School in Cortez, Colorado.
This will be my thirteenth year of teaching at Werner. I have taught three years in sixth grade and ten years in first grade. I attended Fort Lewis College where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Colorado State University. I hold both a Professional Teacher License and a Principal License.
I’m married to my wonderful wife Cherie, who is also a teacher. We have a son named Ethan. I also have three brothers; two of which are also teachers. During my free time, I love to read, watch movies, travel, hike, camp, ski, and go on bike rides. My wife also loves to do the same activities and she loves to cook too. I’m looking forward to a great year!
