The 2018-19 school year marks my eighth year to be a fifth grade teacher here at Werner Elementary and my fourteenth year of teaching all together. I previously taught fifth and sixth grade in Indiana. I am a graduate of Indiana University ~ Go Hoosiers! Though I was born in Dayton, Ohio, I lived in central Indiana my entire life until moving to Fort Collins during the summer of 2010. My husband, Todd, and I have two amazing children. Aaron is a freshman at Kenyon College and Audrey is a junior here in PSD. I enjoy supporting them in their extracurricular activities which include boys' lacrosse, girls' lacrosse, and choir. As a family, we enjoy being on the water at Horsetooth Reservoir tubing, water skiing and just hanging out. I also like reading mystery novels and taking walks with our dog, Dixon. I am excited to meet all of the 5th grade students and learn about their interests and hobbies. I look forward to our classroom growing and accomplishing great things together throughout the school year!
