Dear Werner Community,
Our Open House and Supply Drop-Off will be held tomorrow, Friday, August 13 from 3:00-4:30 pm, with time afterwards for families to connect. Students in 1st-5th grade will have the opportunity to drop off supplies and meet their teacher. Kindergarten families are encouraged to come as well so they can connect with other families. Please enter through outer classroom doors (staff will be available to help guide on the playground). Due to current protocols, we will need to limit the number of people inside classrooms. Therefore, we are asking for families to drop off supplies during these time windows as best as possible:
3:00-3:30 Last Name A-G
3:30-4:00 Last Name H-O
4:00-4:30 Last Name P-Z
Families can take time to connect on the Werner playground before/after supply drop-off. We will have a coffee truck for families to purchase drinks and PTA will provide some cool treats for the kids (see note below from PTA).
Reminder: Masks are required for all students, staff, and visitors inside Werner, but are not required outside.

The PTA is so excited to welcome you back to school! Join us after dropping off your supplies for a little coffee time for the adults (they have non coffee beverages too) while the kiddos play on the play ground. Coffee House 29/ Storymaker Coffee Cart will be on campus for you to purchase that perfect afternoon cup of joe. We will also be providing an otter pop for each kiddo. The PTA will be set up at the picnic tables under the sun shade behind the modular. Storymaker Coffee Cart will be set up across from us on the basketball court! We cannot wait to catch up and hear how your summer has been.
New Families and Kinder Families we are so excited to welcome you to our amazing Werner community and what better way then a free beverage from the coffee cart! Stop by our table so we can say hi and get your ticket for the coffee cart.

Every member will receive a Werner Community yard sign to show their school spirit. Membership helps support our school and our programs. It is not an obligation to attend all meetings or volunteer for everything. It’s only $10 for the entire year per person.
