PSD Bus Request

Re-opened for the 2021-22 school year

Currently, PSD is busing as many students as it can using its current resources. Due to the nationwide bus driver shortage with a local impact on our students, families may submit a bus request to have their student placed on a waiting list or assigned a bus if space becomes available.

The Transportation Department will continue monitoring and adding riders as space becomes available throughout the 2021-22 school year. Families will be notified when their child has been approved for busing as seats become available or as additional drivers are hired, allowing for additional routes to be developed.

PSD Bus Request

Busing is not provided for students who attend a school of choice or PSD-authorized charter school. If your student is eligible for busing at their neighborhood school but is switching to a school of choice, they will not receive busing. Alternate bus requests will not be accepted for students in the walk area or for multiple addresses.

Please note: Submitting a request is not a guarantee of services.
