All About Me:

Hello! My name is Cody Krueger and I am thrilled to be teaching at Werner. As a native of Fort Collins, I am a proud Poudre School District alumni. I completed my bachelor’s in music education from Colorado State University. Before coming to Werner, I taught music at Lopez Elementary for 6 years and am currently the PSD Elementary Honor Choir coordinator. You might even see me around town playing my tuba in the Exquisite Brass Quintet. Outside of music I love to play golf and softball and travel with my wife, Sarah.

About My Classroom:

I believe that music is an essential part of educating a whole child and teaches them how to be creative, use self-expression, become critical thinkers, and learn how to work well with others.

My goal in the music classroom is to provide students with a fun and educational environment where the students find a joy for music that will last a lifetime. I want students to leave elementary school wanting to continue pursuing and enjoying music throughout their lives.

Students will be learning through playing instruments, singing, dancing and listening to music.
