Werner Tour de Cat-September 15

 

This leisurely bike parade will tour neighborhoods surrounding Werner (see map below). We encourage families to dress up with costumes! Bring a picnic dinner, or enjoy some food truck options, to enjoy afterwards while you connect with other families. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are also required for everyone.

Our Tour de Cat is TODAY! Here are some updates in preparation for the event.

  • Event Registration (no need to register again if you have already)
  • Volunteer Help Needed
  • We are encouraging families to dress up for the bike parade. Please be mindful of decorations and the impact on riding a bike.
  • When you arrive, please park in the south parking lot and walk your bikes to the north lot for our start. We encourage riders to be here by 4:45 pm.
  • Please make sure everyone in your family is wearing a helmet. Here are some safety tips for riding bikes as well. Kids Bike and Safety
  • The bike parade will start at 5:00 pm and will last approximately 20 minutes (see map below). We will have a small course around the school set up for small children and it will start after the main bike parade begins.
  • Coach J will lead the parade and we will have course marshals along the way to support with direction.
  • We encourage families to stay afterwards and enjoy a picnic on the playground. We will have food trucks available to sell food as well. The food trucks planning to be here are: Fork Yeah- Hamburger & Hot Dog truck (Donating 15% of sales to the school), Beautiful Life Bowls- Acai and Smoothie Bowls, and Glacier Ice Cream & Gelato.
