All About Me: 

Greetings! My name is Jeffrey Putman and this is my 17th year of teaching either second or third grade, and my 11th year at Werner Elementary.  I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and I attended elementary school at Hambrick Elementary in Stone Mountain, Georgia. After graduating from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education, I taught second and third grade at Emma Hutchinson Elementary in Atlanta, Georgia. During my tenure with the Atlanta Public Schools, I earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University and an ESOL endorsement from North Georgia College. In 2011, I moved to Northern Colorado and began teaching at Werner Elementary. My wife, Jill, and I currently live in Timnath, Colorado, with our children, Corey and Adam. My hobbies include playing golf, playing soccer, strumming the guitar, and reading mystery novels. In my free time, I also enjoy fishing, camping, watching football, and spending time with my family.
