Hometown:

I was born and raised in Fort Collins and am a proud Werner alumni!

Professional Background/Education/Experience:

I have been an educator for the past 14 years. 13 of those years I taught first grade and during COVID I taught reading and math intervention in kindergarten as well as English Language. Beyond the classroom I have been heavily involved in multiple performing arts groups for children and love incorporating the fine arts into my classroom.

 I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and my Masters in Cultural Equity and Diversity in the Classroom from CU Boulder.

What I love about working at Werner:

Werner feels like home. I grew up here and my parents still live in the neighborhood across the street. I love the community that goes with Werner and also love working with my husband, Mr. Krueger (the famed music teacher)!

Personal Interests/Hobbies:

I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel the world, sing, dance, garden, nap, and read books. You also might see me riding my bicycle around town! I have one young son who I love to experience the world with.
